Diagnosing what I thought was a rising damp problem!
"I was extremely worried about the recurrence of what I thought was rising damp in a rental property I own. Replacement soil/stack pipe - 3 Stories for 3 private flats plus all connecting waste pipes.
"John initially responded almost immediately to our predicament of broken pipework from 2 of the 3 flats at the property. This was causing waste water from dishwashers, sinks and the like to soak the brickwork from the 4th floor. Due to the height a substantial scaffolding was required to carry out the work which was erected two days after BBS competitive quote was accepted. The pipe was installed, with all connections in a matter of hours with brickwork making good completed the following day and the scaffolding dismantled soon after. The residents can’t praise BBS for there prompt action."

External and internal painting including woodwork, metalwork and walls
"The 2 man team were professional, efficient and tidy, and totally trustworthy. Our job included the painting and decorating of our hallway, stairs and landings including repairing various cracks and painting multiple doors. It was completed on time leaving the areas neat and tidy. And when a "glitch" was found it was promptly sorted out. Although not cheap I would highly recommend Berkshire Building Solutions Ltd and will be using them again."

Replacing a rotten old conservatory with a kitchen/dining room extension and a utility room.
"Very happy with the work. John also did some roof insulation, put in a new downstairs toilet and fixed some leaks. He is competent and most importantly we trust him. If there are any problems - he’ll come back and solve them. When we hear builders horror stories we feel lucky that we have a decent guy who won’t let us down. That’s why we asked him to do some more work in the house soon."

Knocking through between kitchen and dining room And reroof property
"John carried out 2 large projects for us in 21 and 22. In 2021 he knocked through a central wall in the house and installed 4 steels on brick piers. This work also included stripping out old kitchen and prepping services for new kitchen, finding and installing old pine floorboards to match and finally decorating the whole area. He came back in 22 to reroof the whole property and built a brick wall between our property and neighbours. Our property is Georgian and he was very sympathetic with the materials that he had to supply and we are very happy with the overall look and finish."
